Default Pic Request Rear Trunk Brace and Rear Panel

I have a ITR rear trunk brace that I am mounting on a non- Type R. The non Type R bodies do not have the mounting holes. I want to mount the trunk brace exactly the way it is mounted on a Type R. Please post detailed pictures of the brace on the inner trunk wall. Possibly some pictures of the trunk without the panel and the bar installed so I can see the hole placement.

My 97 GSR had the mounting holes - what do you have that doesn't have the holes ???

I work in a salvage yard and a 94 gsr came in with the bar installed and the mounting holes were there. If not, there should be the same holes on the trunk floor, about 4" from the spare tire well.

I found one picture in a rebuild thread, It looks like the rear panel is trimmed for the bar, but I need a more detailed picture.

What Ive seen people do is drill the hole where its suppose to be and put a locking nut on the other side
I know there is a post about it but no clue where it is

I looked through almost all of the recovery rebuild threads. I can't find any good pictures of the inner trunk wall. Someone hook me up with some detailed pictures.

No you're probably mistaken by the child seat anchor points. Can't use them to mount the trunk brace.

I ordered some M8 Nut rivets from mcmaster.com today. Only $5 for a pack of ten. The tool is the expensive part but I have one at work! The part number is 95105A191

It is fastened to the rear trunk wall to the frame rails. It is pretty strong.
