I'm planning on going ls/vtec but I'm strapped for cash, so I was wondering can I just put the gsr head on the ls and it work fine? Do I need misc stuff or can I just put it on there and it start up and run fine?

oh godness, if you can't afford to do it right don't to a lsvtec.

 

I have all the wiring and dizzy and what not that came from the gsr head, it's just i wanna know can i mate it and it run. I really don't wanna see the head just sit in my room for awhile

 

you'll need to get oil too the head, as well as get a new timing belt. There are a few odds and ends but its not difficult.

Search, there are threads that give you a step by step.

Then put it in a drawer or something

 

GSR heads make great paper weights.

get you a ls/vtec conversion kit. and a few parts like t-belt as mentioned above.

 

I sure as fak wouldnt start doing ANYTHING without extra cash on hand.

on the head one of teh oil passages will have to be pluged. golden egle make ls/v kits witch comes wit oil feed line and teh sandwitch plat for teh oil filter. u will want to use a vtec water pump and oil pump wit a vtec timing belt. if dont have money just keep saving. bettter its done right the 1st time

 

reaserch, save up, and do it right teh first time
