Fuel Pressure gauge in engine bay
I have searched for a few hours now, with no luck. I got 1 search result back and it didnt have anything about the subject. I been trying to see how to install a fuel pressure gauge into my fuel rail. Im going to go with a 100 psi autometer gauge most likely. If anyone has any information, pics, anything on how to do it, please help me out. thanks
I was talking to Mark about some of the things people have done to their civics, and Ive seen some nice electronics in cars but never knew what they were. Ive stuck to just going for a turbo timer and boost controller, but some of you guys have gadgets which look useful but I don't know if they do actually serve any purpose at all. Even though my car isnt a civic, im interested in installing a FP gauge in the engine bay. I will likely need to check how thick the fuel lines are to buy the gauge fittings for them first.

I think the rail is better because it is closer to where it enters the motor and where you really need to know what the pressure is?They both work but thats just my opinion and I used it on both spots.

no.
the best place is the fuel filter. the vibration from the motor will ruin the gauge on the fuel rail. sometimes it works about most of the time youll pop your hood one day and your gauge will be pegged on 90 psi because ti wont read correctly anymore.

if you get a real nice silicon filled gauge it will be ok but your normal b&m gauge will last one drive on your fuel rail.
