Before you go all out with the drag what evers

First you need to look into your suspension setup and more important get your self a damn traction bar and LSD if you do not have them

Then think about looking into tires

And as for a good lunch it is all seat time and experience sorry there is never an easy way to success just practice

Wise, but for a budget standpoint, if you are talking about launching at the track. All you need is slicks and a good clutch. I cut 1.72's 60's in a 90 integra with 180K on stock suspension includng springs with 22inch slicks.

PM me to get some slicks and wheels.

No seriously, we sell wheels and slick combos. And just let me know what your setup is, type of transmission, HP level, all motor or turbo, RPM shift points, etc.
I'll guide you in choosing the right slick size, what rpm to launch at, tire pressure to start out with, etc.

BUDGET LOL,

I put the B in budget or perhaps i am just a tight *** or hell perhaps I am just sensible personally my falsify as always been this rather then spending a million dollars on your JDM B/S headlights and paint or what ever else you can think of invest it in your cars performance that will compensate a big chunk of your budget

Seriously though bro I have all of the above mentioned why because I did not spend my money on stupid crap that is not going to do anything for my cars performance and I am on a serious budget I have car payment and all of that crap but as I said if you follow my above advice all of what I said is achievable and in my personal experience is a MUST for the serious performance guy and will only help enhance your setup when your ready to get your drag radial or full race slicks!

LOL yea bro saw you guys run at the password:jdm battle of the imports Bakersfield October

As for the launch and what tire pressure and RPM’s these guys I am sure have some great advice for you!

Personally I think it is all about seat time and getting to know your car and always be willing to change and always willing to question and be critical with the idea of “what if” personally I like to preload from the hand brake and I do not personally care for all that launch control crap but HEY that’s just me to each there own! As for tire pressure I run the bf drag radial up front and I personally like between 15/20 psi as for what I launch at well could not tell you I just feel it out I usually start at 3 grand and work from there for what I feel I like best for were ever I am racing at!

hey though i gotta know "exospeed" Windshield wiper assembly and wiper + SUN ROOF!??????????????????????????? I would have thought you would have taken that crap out lol I am DD and I do not even have that rubbish lol

True story... took me 6 tries to get the color just right... I added silver metallic, alittle red, and a couple other colors, and sprayed the color coat over a silver micro-metallic base...

LOL

As for the sunroof and wipers, The NHRA requires us to have wipers on the car to run in Sport FWD, the sunroof we just never got around to taking it out and putting in a CF plug...

Its the rule for the class, as well as full interior and full oem glass are required... If we dont want to follow those rules we would find another class to race in, but we love the competition of Sport FWD...

Damn I dont have either of those, just some slicks. No wonder I'm stuck in 1.65 60' land.

Most of the time, the people saying whats "needed" have no conceptual idea because their sittin on their computers rather then testing at the track..

HT is cool, but the backlash is the bandwagon in the forums. Lots of good info, but also alot of difference ideas.
its not a perfect world.

Slicks with no lsd or traction bar I cut mid to high 1.6's in my turbo car. On 225 BFG's drags in my nitrous car no LSD or traction bar I 1.91 60ft. Both cars on a fairly simple suspension setup consisting of groundcontrol coilovers and a tokico strut combo nothing fancy.

I am not saying traction bars and and good LSD doesn't help but do you NEED them before you get a decent of tires I would say no. Just my 2cents but I am sure I am wrong. I guess you can get a traction bar and a LSD and cut 1.42 60 FT's on street tires
