Im at a bit of a stand point on the instal and fab of my new turbo setup. I want to squeeze a 12 X 18 X 4 BACKDOOR intercooler right infront of my turbo and beside my EG 1/2 Rad

Currently, it wont fit. Plain and simple wont fit at the angle I want to mount the intercooler for the shortest piping possible.

I seen a picture once of someone turning the radiator towards the passenger side, and kind of scooting it towards where the battery is (mine will be relocated anyways)

Does anyone have a pic of the rad turned that way?

Any close ups of that car?

Almost a copy of my car, turbo sohc, yellow headlights, blue paint and a big fatty front mount

Would love some more pics though

Im assuming you just turned it and leaned it for ground clearance and downpipe fitment though right? Probably not for intercooler fitment like me

I personally need to hug it as tight as possible to that headlight shroud, but want it to still look clean somehow

 

Won't the turbo mani heat up the intercooler if it's right there?

 

Well, If I can move the rad over, I can sneak the intercooler up and have atleast a 2" gap between them

My manifold is also heat wrapped and my turbo exhaust housing coated, should be fairly cool

I wouldn't recommend trying to contact TK with questions about his old car.
