Default power steering/performance?

If I put my power steering back in my 95 ls will I notice any loss of performance??

Removing the power steering normally frees-up between 3-7 whp.

Probably not, and if you do it will most likey be in your head.

The effect is similar to engaging or disengaging the A/C compressor. If you switch on the A/C while driving in a Honda, and don't feel the parasitic drag reducing the motor's power, you need to re-calibrate your butt dyno.
