never driven on a big course like that, but on the small sprint tracks i find my self gurnting in the 125cc kart i run. I would imagine the G's are higher and sustained for much longer periods of time.
Its a MAJOR work out to drive one of those 125cc shifter karts for 15minutes

Just like slammed_93_hatch said, it is a massive workout to pilot a shifter kart. I ran Infineon last year in November. I ran my 80 and it was a challenge. The lateral G's you can pull in a kart are unbelievable.
On sprint tracks, this feeling gets amplified exponentially since there is really no time to rest. The track I all my home track has lap times of 31-35 seconds. Top speed of roughly 75mph. It is a workout to race 10 laps.
As for Infineon, it was a workout, but there was enough straightaways to get your composure back. Top speed there in my kart, not in the draft, was 95mph.

lol my arms get super tired from driving the carts at the local carting place around here. I think we ran 25 minutes straight...my neck was sore the next day...can't imagine what it's like in anything harder to drive.

i have been trying to get out to the open days they do out there. I don't really have an interest in actually racing them, it just keeps me on my toes for racing my car.
are the open days normally pretty slow? or are there lots of people out there.

It is spelled with a k. Karts.
Plus, most local karting facility's (indoor) have low hp setups to keep costs down. A 9hp 4-stroke is practically sitting still compared to a 32hp 2-stroke.
