Default M&H Racemaster 8.7/25.0-13 Legal for NHRA & NOPI

First of all, thank all of you for you continued support of our drag
racing tires. Recently it has been brought to our attention that some
drivers are under the impression our 8.7/25.0-13 (MHR-15) is illegal to
run in the NHRA Sports Compact and NOPI racing series. This is not the
case. Our 8.7/25.0-13 (MHR-15) is legal to run in both racing series. If
you have any questions please PM John or give us a call at 1-661-324-4773.
Thank you again for your support. Good luck and drive safely.

Best Regards,

this is what it says in the NDRA class rule book, under power street....
" NDRA approved Slicks FWD cars: Max rollout allowed will be 77 inches.
MT-24.5/9.0 max size
M&H 24.5/8.5 max size"

wow he said she said stuff again huh. we've been running the 25x8.7x13 all this time now.

for NHRA I'm for sure teh 25x8.7x13 is good.

for IDRC you can use up to the 26x8.5x13 M&H

I think Mr. M&H was referring to the SWFD/turbo street class. You can run a 26" tire in NDRA for turbo street, and a 25" tire for NHRA SWFD. Some folks think it was considered too big because some of the quicker cars were only running a 24.5" tire. Power street is a whole other ballgame.

with the 25" m&h's do you have to cut the fenders on a eg hatch? i have a short geared tranny, (CTR) and make just a little over 500whp so im debating the 24's vs the 25's I obviously dont want to shift into 5th either but dont wanna be out of my power range either.

M&H </TD></TR></TABLE>well, NDRA has put the Comp4 and power street classes together so my question was more for Comp4. Was the 25" tire ok for comp4 last year?
