How to know if your getting a Si Tranny?
Some guy is selling me an Si tranny but i wanna know for shure that it is a Si tranny. Is their any number to look out for to identify the tranny? Thanks
Im pretty sure all SOHC trannys read L3#### is their a gold sticker on it, IM pretty sure it should have a vin number and from their you could decode it to see if it came from an si correct me if Im wrong

Should have a black speedometer gear inside for 89-91 Si transmissions as well as EX 4dr models.
EX 4dr models = 4.06 Final Drive
Si models = 4.25 Final Drive
They all say L3 on them
even the 4 spd models
