you can paint them with this paint called trim black, it comes in a rattle can and gives a factory finish to moldings, unpaintd mirrors and moldings. ive used it many times at the body shop i work at and it works great.

The key to paintin nethin is preperation. Use a gray or red scratch pad that u can get from ne autobody supplier or autozone an pepboys and get some simple green from same place. now spray simple green all over theside skirts, let it sit for 5 minutes, then washit off. Then scratch it wit the red pad all over. spray simple green again, wash off, then ur ready. spray ur sealer then paint. Thats if u tryin to paint it the same color as car, now if u r just tryin to go that dull black, then yea spray it wit trim black, but remember b 4 u do that u still gotta clean it wit simple green to get all the greese an ne guide of **** that will make the paint chip later.

It will have whatever kind of finish you ask/pay for. Thats the joy of having a professional do it for you. You can tell them how you want it...

if your planning on painting make sure to have a professional do it because if you dont it will eventually chip away in time. also, make sure to have a warranty on the job.
