Default Primer The Hood

As the Title says, I primered my hood, why you asked. cause well it was fadded very badly, and well had rust spots..so I chemical strip it, sanded it to bare metal, then Primered it tell me what you think lol







Notice the Bird crap already >.>

I did the same thing to my hood except I put the honda badge back on and mine was two toned with black and grey. Its a cheap way to change things up and get your car ready for paint.

if its rattle can primer, then it probably wasnt a great idea...that is if you went to bare metal before paitning it, like you said you did. Probably LOOKs better than a rusty hood but you may just cause more headache in the long run

Yeah I agree primer.. donts clean well lol, but it will have to do till next month or so, and the clips on my H badge.. are broken.. V.V

you already know I like it, but O.o what are you going to do about those paw prints, how do you 'clean' a primered hood? xD oh and put on those mud flaps! ^.^

Word, primer like bondo will absorb moisture and rust the metal under it.

yeah cleaning primer is not.. fun.. well it cant be done.. lol but Im fixing it.. Kan &gt;.&gt; and umm the fenders.. 88-89 XD

I just notice your ED is a sedan, no wonder they "look" differen't, cause my 89 si hatch fenders don't flare out that much but it be nice to have those with some clean paint and a drop, since i like flared fenders, and lips.

I like it, it looks gangster but you should flat black paint it because primer wont hold up too long

hey whats up? nice ride ...but what lip is that? is that the OEM HONDA Lip? i have one i bought for my ride im just trying to make sure they sold me the right one...the honda parts here are dumb asses! lol
