Default stupud question!!!

ok i was wondering is it possible to put a p72 ecu toa sohc 95 vtec? and lets say i put it will it burn/frie the ecu?


any comments?

It will not fry the ECU, but it won't run the engine correctly.

are ya sure cuz i tried putting my bros ecu(p72) and it was breathing more than usual and it ran faster sooo do you know how much i may buy a p72 for?

Check the classifieds. I am sure, you are going to run a 1.8L DOHC VTEC with secondaries ECU on a 1.6L SOHC VTEC without secondaries engine. Different VTEC crossovers and different fuel maps.

just go on ebay and buy a chip for your original ecu, if all your looking for is a little more perfomance

well im not going to rev it to the p72 redline limit only the reg revlimit for a 1.6 thats all and i only wat to know and ppl are saying stupid things i just wanted to know thats all and thx

I feel much dumber after reading this thread. But why would you want to run the p72 ecu? What exactly do you mean by breathing more?? How do you know it ran faster, did you track it?
