There's something so wrong but so right about flowmassassss on anything other then a 5L lol.

what series were you looking at? Flows single chamber muffler is top notch and out flows most other race mufflers, but i'm guesing one of the major series like 4- 60 80 etc?

as far as if you are just getting a muffler yes it'll work and help a bit, but these exhaust don't exactly choke the car. Really best to do all the piping *size depending on mods and whats planned* and muffler at same time.

Me, other then single chambers on a OHV with a nice X pipe on duals im not a fan of the flow master sound it's an ok flowing muffler better then stock yes, but in cases of muffler it's more a tone thing and i'm just not to into them on anything really..

It's up to your tastes though.

Lots of diff oppinions but basically if you wanna be loud go to ebay and bust out 40 bucks on a universal muffler, if you wanna stick closer to stock but with way better flow go with something like RSR or Kteller. Lots of Exhausts too many to list. Stay away from Tsudo! The muffler hangs too low and drags. Hope that helped.

I had a full custom 2.5" exhaust setup fed through a dynomax muffler. I loved the way it sounded. Pretty subdued low tones at part throttle, good non-raspy sound at full throttle.

I have a 2.25" in dual 2"out Flowmaster with a 18" Magnaflow resonator out on my civic and it sounds pretty good. With the 2 2" pipes out the back it looks almost stock.

You don't get that sound from a 1.5L SOHC.

HKS has a great refined tone to it, one of the more tame sounding catbacks.
