Default 6th Gen Electrical Problem

Well we have a sixth gen in the family arsenal and I was driving it back from the food store when I was on a main road giving the car gas and it shutoff completely all the lights came on after about 20 seconds when I pulled into a turn lane. I turned the key back and removed it waited a second started it and the car came on but once again before I could pull out it cut off, the instrument panel went dark once again and all the lights came on. The third attempt made it home with no problems but I was just wondering if anyone had a similar problem and knew the steps to take to fix it.

My experience with OwnerLink is that site didn't know about the recalls. Call a dealer. Any dealer can look up recall status with your VIN.
