painting interior
I have a integra 2 door that has a tan interior. i picked up a black interior. it came from a smokers car so there was a lot of smoke damage on the top grey half so i decided to junk the damaged parts which means ill need to reuse some of my old tan parts. wthis is where tha painting comes in play. I bought some rust-oleum specialty "paint for plastic" black. will this last on the plastic parts of the interior? ie. A pillar and the rear triangle as well as some upper parts. I tested it on a part i was going to get rid of and i did no prep(no sanding no primer) and it seems to be sticking well and a couple more coats should cover up the parts real color. should i use bulldog's adhesive promoter? then primer then paint for best results that will last and be strong?
