Default crazy a/f readings

i was working on my cousin's integra that i just finished boosting and it was running a little rich, it didnt matter too much cuz i had the msd on it so it never fouled the plugs. he kept buggin me to put his fpr on so i did. when i started the car up the baseline pressure was 45psi and the car started to surge a little bit and the gauge was reading all the way in the lean, even when i stepped on the gas. so i put everything back to stock and the gauge is still reading lean. when i open it up its still runs exactly the same. I have no clue if the gauge is right or wrong. can i get some help?

what are you judging these readings from? do you have a wideband installed?

Hopefully it's a wideband, because I could give you better advise without even looking at the car if it's a narrow band.

Since it's a regular (narrowband) O2, the gauge is pretty much a useless light show. Your readings are not going to be useful unless you use a wideband O2.
