Hi all, just doing some cataloging at work, and needs proof that the 1992-1995 U.S EG civic CX got the D15B8 (8 valves) engine and Canada got the D15B7 (16 Valves) engine.........
anyone got the official Honda Service Manual/Print out (or anything that can prove the following point) that "CLEARLY" states the following

-- Canada CX comes with D15B7 (16Valve) engine????????

i can't seem to find anything offical to prove this, eventhough i know i am 100% correct on this...........

Both state that all CXs came w/D15B8.

DX and LX got D15B7.

but mind you, i did some search on the net as well........but the thing is both the link you provided are for "U.S" market ONLY, and not for Canada

in fact, in Canada, we NEVER got the D15B8 engine, all 92-95 Canadian civic (LX, DX, CX) got the D15B7 and the rest got SI(D16z6) and VX(D15Z)

 

if i have a d15b7 does that mean my car is canadian???

 

if you have a D15B7, and its a CX hatchback, then it can be either swapped, or Canadian vehicle.......

as per the link posted above, all 1992-1995 U.S CX came with a D15B8 SOHC 8 Valve engine.......

can anyone HELPPPPPPP???
