Anybody done an install of a "Stiffy" engine dampener on their '90/'91 CRX yet?
The manufacturer of these does not make mounts for our cars and wondered if anyone had fabbed up a pair yet or not. I have the original universal model (cheaper off of E-Bay and still the same part) and like to mount this puppy in the engine bay pretty soon.

 

I get stiffies just thinking about CRXs

Wouldn't polyurethane bushings offer the same thing?

Made by Ingalls Engineering - is very similar to a steering dampener for crotch rockets . . .

paid $141 on E-Bay, they would mount between the drivers side engine mount and the hump for the wheel well - mine came w/no mounting brackets @ all and they (Ingalls) do not make them for the CRX at all. They are interested in making them for the car if anyone comes up w/a workable set. Any fabbers out there?
