i was wondering what a safe shot would be on my motor, all stock internals except a cam.... i would be only using the shot for the track..

 

how bout you research a little more with that search key

anyway id say a 50 to 75 wet shot

and or part together a chearp turbo kit

 

Personally ran a 70 shot DRY (D16Y8 motor also) for 1.5 years racing every weekend during the warmer months....never had an ounce of problems.

Took apart the motor to build it at the end of the 1.5 years...still could see machining on the cylinder bores, pistons had the typical light top layer of carbon, exhaust valves were white.....very clean internally. Motor never burned oil, never had any problems whatsoever. I probably put an easy 25-30 bottles through the motor.

nice man, but with my luck im going to stick with a dry 55 shot.. possibly 65 too scared to try it though. so yea 55 for me which will give me what 40hp to the ground?...
