Default Finally made a 10sec pass

After blowing a charge pipe right before the finish line and running another 11.00, i got the pipe back on and made another run, got a 10.85@133 spinning pretty badly (only a 1.75 60ft.). Im pretty happy with that for now, hopefully i can step it up at IFO this weekend.

Yeah the track just wasnt that great, everyone was spinning. The track IFO is being held at is alot newer and hooks better than the one i ran on, i can usually get into the 1.6 60ft. range over there. Maybe run some 10.70's we will see.

Yeah i put some DSS 3.9 axles and hubs in it. Yes 11.0 is the number of doom, i didnt think i was ever going to get away from it, i def. found out that making more hp doesnt automatically make you et faster, you cant just build a 500hp car and run 10's, it actually takes some work. I can only imagine how hard it is to break into the 9's.

Yes it definately got the monkey off my back, felt great. I should be able to 60ft. alot better this weekend. I just hope my old stg. 5 sprung comp clutch holds up for the race this weekend, i had to take the twin disc out because the flywheel got messed up. Once i put that back in im gonna turn it up to 28psi and shoot for mid-low 10's

good job man, i remember my first 10sec pass, i was lined up against turbo-charged at the spring e-town, couldnt hold the clutch steady for preload, took forever to stage, thanks joe for being patient, went red, didnt even look at my slip, got back to the pit to find tent upside down, fixed it, forgot to look again, and after the rush wsa over from the run i looked at it, was a 10.96 was a great feeling.

keep at it. i am looking for 9's next.
take care.

i remember my first ten second pass too. mine was at a test and tune at etown. i was running pro-tree, so i had the liberty of running a 10.5 mustang, lol. He ran an 8.0 shutting down. I actually thought it was a horible run ,because i was soooo far behind.. lol. then i seen my slip. 10.96.. was alot of screaming and jumping.. its always a good feeling

I bet you were ecstatic.
