Just wondering if anyone has ever heard of them coming with yellow tinted glass? A local guy has a set for a pretty good price but they have what he calls ultra rare yellow tinted glass, does anyone know if this oem? By they way its a DC app. TIA
I know exactly what your talking about. Theres a euro type r in silver with them. Its an actual mirror made by Spoon. Its Ubber rare. If I find a pic of it ill post it. You can probly use some yellow film to do the same effect tho.

Funny you should bring this up.
I just bougt a set on Ebay. I've never seen them before and I wanted some powerfolding mirrors anyways, so I bid and won.
According to the auction:
"THESE MIRRORS FOLD AT THE TOUCH OF A BUTTON AND ARE EQUIPPED WITH YELLOW TINTED GLASS FOR THAT ULTRA RARE JDM APPEAREANCE.THE COLOR OF THE GLASS DOES NOT AFFECT VISIBILITY IT IS LIGHT SENSITIVE."
Here's pics of them...

I dont know how rare they are or if the lens really is made by Spoon, but I like my new **** colored mirrors.

the spoon mirrors are "wide" angle glass on both sides too, to provide more sight and less of a blind spot...

These are the Spoon mirrors...did they make them in yellow too? I was thinking that the yellow lens is a OEM part.

Eeek...sorry dude, I feel like an ***
I didnt know these were the exact ones you were talking about.
Well, I think they're authentic. I dealt with the same dealer in the past and he's a stand up guy.
I guess when I get them in I'll let you guys know if they're real or if the mirrors are just really covered in cat ****.
