hows everyone doin, im wondering is there a difference between the 96-00 ex/dx side skirts and moldings and the Si's and type r's? thx

 

sideskirts go on bottom of car otherwise know as rocker panels and the mouldings run horizontally across rear quarter panel, across door and onto the front fender

x2 I misread your post the first time around

 

I know that the Si versions are made of a smooth plastic that is color matched to the car. The other year models have a black textured sideskirts. the textured ones can be painted, but the finish won't come out very well because of the texturing.

 

ohhh i see i see, because i had seen some thin side moldings online n i thought that was the diff. does anyone have any ideas how i could go about painting them and for them to have a smooth finish?
