Whats the difference between the 9005 and 9006 bulbs???
Just got my JDM front, and i saw that one of the bulbs are 9005. I have the old bulbs from my USDM front and they are 9005, and 9006. The 9005 and 9006 are identical in every way. Does anyone know the difference?

The base is slightly different, but the 9005 can be modified to fit a 9006 socket. The wattage on a 9005 id 65W and a 9006 is 55W if I recall correctly. Search for "9005 conversion" to find how-to threads, etc.

The above post is correct.
9005's are high beam bulbs, 9006's are low beam bulbs.
9005's use 65watts, 9006's use 55watts.
9005's produce 1700 lumens, 9006's produce 1000 lumens.
