Default JDM vs. Domestic bumper supports

I've heard that JDM Hondas come with a different type of bumper support compared to U.S. models, or without them altogether. Can anyone confirm this? Something to do with the fact that cars imported to the U.S. have to pass the 2.5 mph "bumper basher" test?

i have it should be the 5 mph bump test. thats why lot of sport cars in japan cant come to US.

JDM Hondas? Bumper Support? PuHahAhHAHAhAhHAHAhA. They never came with any.
