Default Being able to keep cruise control with motor swap

I was gonna add cruise control to my 2000 hatch, but was wondering if i could be able to keep it when i swap my h22 in? Preludes have cruise control so the hook for the wire should be there on the throttle body, but i just wanted to make sure before i go and buy cruise control stuff. Also i searched and couldn't find one but does anyone have a walkthrough on adding cruise to an ek hatch?

On a side note: if anybody has a complete cruise control set for a good price pm me, thanks

If your EK was factory installed with cruise then you shouldn't have to do anything more then have the vacuum hooked up to the cruise selenoid. I may be mistaken but I believe that the cruise on all 92-00 civics is hooked up directly by cable to the gas pedal assembly. However if your car did not come equipped form the factory with cruise then you will have to source all the parts (including a pedal assembly, cruise button, switch, etc.) from another EK to have the system to work.

i have an aftermarket cruise in my EK, and it isnt hooked up to the gas pedal, just the throtle body rotor, it doesnt look that good, its kindof like a second turn signal, just with all the cruise functions, i dont like it that much, but it works(most of the time)

Are you sure?

I thought 92-95's used a vacuum system for the cruise control and 96's+ used electrical systems?
