Looks good, I still wish I knew where to start on makeing one of those roses.

 

Getting a template is easy for it
Go to walmart by a fake rose
Take it apart
trace out the petals and trace them on cardboard
cut out cardboard
Trace these new templates on the metal you are going to use for petals
cut with a plasma torch, debur
Assemble rose petals in reverse order from how you took the original apart

wahla the hardest part is done, if you cant figure out the rest then shame on you...

looks good this is the one i made and I used all hand tools minus the welder. I didnt trace anything or go through all that I just went off the top of my head. I feel ya on being bord southern maryland is the most boring place ever
