Default 400 dollars later, heres my new ef

just picked up a 91 hatch for the total sum of 396 dollars. he was aking 400 but i got something to eat on the way to look at the car, and its all i had

on the way home from the guys house, the car broke down and wouldnt start. pulled the plugs and they were covered in oil. left the car in a parking lot, and drove home to get some tools and brakleen. after swapping out the plugs and shooting all the oil out, started her up and drove home.

176,xxx miles, automatic. ac and power steering. only problem is the tranny slips pretty bad after about 20 minutes of driving. but thats gonna be solved by an auto-> manual conv. momo steering wheel, lowered on some nuespeed springs and some 13" slipstream lookalikes

now im pretty new to efs, and i dont really know what i want to do with this car. i bought it with the intention of having it as a daily driver, but im having delusions of granduer.
i am almost considering doing an h22 swap into this little thing
any tips or suggestions on what to do with this thing will not be frowned upon

well they say pictures say a thousand words, so here we go.

didnt take any engine bay pics yet, but i just changed the oil earlier, and it needs new valve cover o-rings. anyone know if i can put del sol seats in this thing? if not i might be in the market for some crx si seats.

also, what motor do i have? theres too much built up grime on the block, so i couldnt see the engine stamp. all i know is its dpfi, which is probably gonna go along with the auto tranny

who makes 13" slipstream lookalikes. Sound like perfect cheap wheels for slicks (assuming they are cheaper than lenso's). Do you have a link to them?

BTW, sick deal!

great deal for $396, I bought a 89 hatch for 300 once, it was a total POS. This one looks like it is in decent shape. Good find man.

damn thats clean. an h22 swap would be sick. i love when people put h22's in these little cars. thro a d tranny on it, chop the frame a little, and your ready ready to smoke the tires threw all 5.

Nice score. Convert that thing to 5-speed and you're golden! Original paint?

yeah im pretty sure its the original paint. it really isnt as clean as the pictures make it look, it has a bit of quarter panel rust on the passenger side, theres a dent in the drivers side door and hood. but overall im happy with it. i was kinda joking about the h22, although a daily driven 12 second car seems kinda cool

i have a gsr motor in my garage that i was going to build and swap into my em1, and i might put my stock b16 in this thing. or i might do a turbo d, or maybe....hah i dont know.

anyone know what kinda swaybars i can put on here? im also interested in changing the drums to disks and swapping the front brakes for integra ones.
