Default o2 simulator?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...wItem

^^^could this work with an omni power straight pipe (if any of you are familiar with it). even though the stock cat had a primary and a secondary. could only one shut off the CEL.

Your cat only has one O2 sensor, which is the secondary sensor. The primary sensor is located in the exhaust manifold. And yes, this should fix the CEL.

Why would an OMNI straight pipe be different than any other straight pipe? I mean, it's just a pipe...

Well, either the exhaust manifold or downpipe... but before the cat at the very least. The primary O2 sensor's job is to monitor the A/F ratio. The secondary's job is to make sure the cat is working.

i've had the non-fouler thing on for about a year or two. car runs as if it was with a cat. no lights, no fireballs, no lower gas mileage or anything weird.

my gas mileage is terrible. im only getting like 300-350 to a tank, when i used to get 375-415 to tank. and im starting to develop a nasty carbon stain. i need my car to think the o2's are working ASAP.

it might help a tad but ultimately you are screwing with the mpg if you running test pipe

well i thought the straight pipe wouldnt affect MPG. i thought the fact that im running rich without the o2 sensors activated would.

no, on extended cruise your ecu will adjust fuel curve according to the info gathered from the two monitor(aka the two o2 sensor), which is called a close loop operation. that alone will add some mpg on the highway commute.

I do have a 2.5 inch exhaust already. I have never really fine tuned my vacum maps anyways and I run in Open loop all the time...they run a tad rich around 12.5:1 - 13.0:1. I'm sure if I retuned those a little bit I would get better gas mileage...but it also doesnt help I'm running a T25 so sometimes its hard to stay out of boost.
