Seen it on ebay. Jasma is just a stamp that is like a carb sticker in japan i wouldnt buy it. If your looking to upgrade over stock then i guess it would be decent.

Just a FYI...you are aware that JASMA stands for Japan Auto Sport Muffler Association, correct?
Jasma does NOTHING for performance.

Google 'JASMA'

A Jasma tag makes a header/Exhaust JCI legal.

Yeah just found out what JASMA stood for through HT's Search button . Always thought it was related to high end JDM things, not the equal to being CARB legal in the US. Again thanks for input guys and refining my mind with more JDM info.

for the money, this is the best header you can get right now. its the 399 dollar JG edelbrock proflo header and summit has them on a dirt cheap close out. check the dyno threads with these headers

edit: they are 142 bucks right now while supplies last

dam, im gonna order one of those headers!

youve got mail:
yeah, the JASMA means absoutly nothing when it comes to performance. The only thing it does is help with your JCI and such. Ive seen top notch headers with Jasma tags and ive seen $100 headers with Jasma tags. Dont buy a header because it has a JASMA tag on it unless you want that bling...

anyone know if b-piping is really loud or....?

DickTones, can you link me up to the dyno results, etc on the JG. I searched and cant find much on this header except for it being sold somewhere. This header is equal to something like a DC im assuming??

The Japaneese refer to exhaust like this.
Ex. Manifold -> cat -> B pipe -> axle back

All peices with the exception of the cat have to have a Jasma tag. Refer to the Jasma info ive posted

A cat just has to be there. Its either, you have a cat or you dont.

The B pipe usually containes a resinator. Is it loud...well, its just piping, so no it isnt 'loud'.

The B-pipe doesnt require a cat though. It acts as the bottom half of the header for easy replacement with exhaust when going to a track.

wrong... thats the a pipe. The b pipe is the after cat section that connects to the axleback.
basically the cat is seperate from the a pipe and b pipe. The bpipe goes between the cat and axleback
