Its off topic but its a free bump, where do you race, what do you race? I do so called "parking lot autocross" but these days its mostly at tracks. They set up an autocross course out of cones.

 

I race with the Madison Sports Car Club which is part of Midwestern Council. This year I will also be racing with SCCA and NASA.

I was racing a 1995 Civic SI with this motor but I was in a crash at Chicago Autobahn and totaled out the chassis. So I am parting out the car and I am going to build an ITR if I can find one, I was racing wheel to wheel and with the swap in my car I was not able to race for points so if I build an ITR I would be able to race for points.

I am in the Madison area also...

 

I used to have a buddy that lived in Mt. Horab so I know where you are. I was at one of the MSCC races last year, but I dont have summer tires and wasnt getting good traction so I ran pretty slow. I'm1 going to try to attend more of their events this year I think. Once I'm outta school I'm thinking about going Spec Miata and getting my competition license.

What chassis are you going to be running with your new ITR? Considered a K20 swap and build?

I am planing on running an ITR chassis with ITR motor so I will be able to race with more bodys. When I was running the swap in my hatch I was able to race but not for points. Only place I could run for points was NASA and there are not many events in the midwest for the Honda Challenge.
