dohc zc ? what is the thing on the side of head on the exhaust cam and where to plug it in

Default dohc zc ? what is the thing on the side of head on the exhaust cam and where to plug it in

dohc zc engine black valve cover, what is the thing on the side of head on the exhaust cam and where to plug it in, it has a wire / plug connector coming off of it, but i dont know where it goes, and what it is.

sorry for the nub question, but im having trouble finding it the answer in search, thanks.

ya theirs two wires id I remeber one is blue and other i dont remeber. This is the crank angle sensor

There are 2 wires in the distributer wire harness that hook up to it. The Blue/Yellow and Blue/Green wires connect to the crank angle sensor. I don't think it makes any difference which way you hook them up.

yep those are the color of the wire. Im not 100% if it matters if you switch the wires up. Does anyone have a wiring digarm?

here you go


i dont remember having a problem with the polarity of the wires to the crank angle sensor
only had a problem with the white wire with the red stripe, but just switched them and it worked fine
