Default Trying to get a CRX for dd

Whats up guys. I just joined up here trying to learn more about these cars. My friend has a 91 so I know a bit but not as much as i should. I am getting one as a dd so i can keep my stang parked all the time. I just wondering if these had any problems that are known just in crx's? How do these things handle stock and hows their driveablity?

its a great car as long as you never have more than one passenger or have to carry a lot of stuff.
very reliable and cheap on gas. goodluck finding a non rusted one in Pa though

I love my crx Im glad I picked it up just check to see how bad the rust is if any rear wheel area and under the lower molding among others, like if it has a sunroof chk area for rust also. And chk under the rain channels as the seam filler may be bad from age and have small cracks and may leak int the rain which can be fixed with alittle silicone. I took front and back bumpers off and all lower moldings and made sure to clean up the underlying area and sprayed with undercoating to insure it will last awhile longer. - Not really about your drivability questions but common problems among others being that there old.

^ i completely agree with him. great driveability, as long as you arent really tall of course. surpirsingly comfy and roomy for a really small car. it gives good feedback while driving, unlike other cars that feel numb (like with power steering or too much frilly creature comforts)

I love the crx. I went from a stang to a rex myself and there was a big difference in power. But also a BIG difference at the pump.

What year stang do you got. I have a 89 5.0

There is actually alot of mustangs around here. Everyone like american muscle in KY. Not to many people on the whole import scene. I have mine just to have some fun everyonce and awhile. What all do you have done to your 5.0?

Yea my gt is just sitting there waiting to be turned into a drag car or something. But instead I would much rather work on my crx. I dont think I am going to sell my stang because I think when I get older I would regret selling it.
