Ok my plans are to take this car to the drag strip and a few Auto-X events this year. Its a 92 EG VX hatchback N/A JDM ITR with plans on making 230whp. Anyway i have recaro's in the front and the door panels but the rest of the car is gutted fron there back . Safety is key and i want some side impact protection . How many point cage shoould i get ? I also need a harness bar for my shoulder harnesses . How much do they go for ? I am in Vegas so im looking for So-cal / AZ/ NV fab shops thanks - Mike

 

I'd give a call to SW Racecars. They make all sorts of cages, and are great people. They'll custom make whatever you want and ship it to you.

I got a bolt-in AutoPower cage for around 550$ shipped.
Most weld-in cages run 1000$-2000$ depending on the shop and complexity of the cage.
