Sooo I just bought a new turbo and it is a 4 bolt exhaust housing, therefore I need a 4 bolt downpipe. I have a full 3" 5 bolt downpipe right now, it has 1 O2 bung welded in it, and it is painted high temp black coating. The downpipe is perfect, it exits the right side and goes to the stock location, I am looking to trade the 3" 5 Bolt Downpipe I have for a 3" 4 Bolt Downpipe. If you have one, let me know. Thanks

 

just swap out the exhuast housing

 

Why!? I just bought this turbo brand new.

 

exhuast housing isnt going to go bad unless it cracks which usually takes a long time... its easier to me to just swap those out so you can use your dp that you have now

 

why dont you just cut the 5 bolt flange off the downpipe? Im in the same predicament as you dude.

 

Didn'tw ant to pay for the 4 boltflange (25 bucks) then to cut the old one off and re weld a new one on, thats another 50 bucks.

its cool, i will jsut cut off my 5 bolt and weld on a 4 bolt.
