Default Group buy on Weathertechs?

I'm thinking of buying some of the Weathertech floor liners (probably just the fronts), but am wondering if it's possible to get a group buy discount on something like this. How does one go about it? Also, does anyone have access to http://www.weathertechdirect.com pricing?

Thanks!

UPDATE! Updated by L-Dawg at 7:47:16 PM 2/14/2007

Ok...because WeatherTech takes 2+ days to respond to emails (do they honestly get THAT many questions about floor mats???), I'll give you the update on what I've got so far:

They WILL offer a 20% discount on certain merchandise (i.e. at least FloorLiners) if we can organize a purchase of 15 or more items. This comes out to about $87 for a set of front FloorLiners, SHIPPED. The downside is that someone has to act as treasurer and make the order all at once.

Shall we start making a list of people who'd be interested in doing this?

Stay tuned for further details.

Unfortunately for me I already have the front but I can easily be inticed to buy the back! They are great by the way.

Yeah, I'd be totally down, pending on pricing of course, but let us know what they say, I'm down for a good deal.

maybe it's been addressed before...but The Weathertechs don't fit the Si's.....b/c we all have manual transmission. Look at the description: Does not fit manual transmission.

EDIT... after a little searching, i found that they DO fit...but you need to take off the regular carpet mats...in order for the clutch to move freely.

Old news.. it's not like this is some kind of "hack" having to take out your old mats...I'd assume you'd be taking them out.

I'm in communications with the company now. I'll update you all as soon as they answer all my questions.

Have these on all my families vehicles, they aren't the prettiest but if you want functionality nothing beats them.

I have these on my window visors on my Si sedan. They are great and they are slim. I like how they are place inside the window channel instead of sticking them on the outside. Too bad I already have the all season mats from Honda, otherwise I would be all over this.

Question: And I'm sure some people may want to ask this as well, do we have to stay set on one specific color for all, or do we go in and be able to mix and match and pick our own color (for those with light colored cloth interior)?

We can mix and match colors or car types -- more product-specific than that, though, I'm not sure yet.

The problem with the manual transmission Civic models is that the clutch catches on the front end of the FloorLiner. The mold will be modified in the future to accommodate the clutch movement, but we currently will not sell the part for manual transmission Civic models due to safety concerns.

Usually we define a set as front and rear parts together for a single vehicle. If one of your members wants to order FloorLiners for one vehicle then that would count as one set. If someone orders for two vehicles then that would count as two sets even if shipping to as single address. </TD></TR></TABLE>

It sounds like a group buy really would be inconvenient and probably not feasible at this time. Plus, what the heck were they thinking not officially supporting manual transmissions? Maybe I'll get one and then cut it...

Yes. The floor liners will work for MT cars. You need to remove your stock mats.

NOTE: It took 2 weeks to get mine (2/07). Back order I believe.
