Do the bulbs have to be yellow if you want to have clear corner lights?

and no. they can be any color you like. but most people use amber cause its JDM and cause AMBER is also the DOT approved lighting. if a cop wants to be a ******* (which in most cases they are) they can pull you over and give you a ticket for having a colored parking light.....

 

corner? depend which. on the 5th gen(93-97) The corner lights are parking lights. For the 6th gen, i think you need amber.

 

i have silverstar amber corner bulbs. Honestly i think that for 20$ its the most cost effective cosmetic upgrade you can make. They look kinda sci-fi blueish but while there lit they burn a slightly deeper amber than stock. Check them out, there legal and make for a clean classy look.
