Default e non a/c radiator ok?

I have a stock 91 std hatch, not factory equipped with a/c. I just put in a/c from another ef. Is it safe to use the stock 1" thick non a/c radiator, or will the car overheat?

thanks in advance guys!

So you are asking if you can cut your radiator in half???? Unless you are skilled with a welder, I would strongly advise against that.

You need to do a little bit more research, bro. Lots of guys are running EG and DelSol half-sized dual-core radiators with custom mountings and whatnot.

A better option is a Neon radiator (yes, Dodge Neon). It is shorter and even uses one of the lower mounting points.

Provided that you don't have something taking up a bunch of room in the place the stock AC pieces would be (eg. - turbo/manifold, etc), you should be able to bolt it up in that location without issue using the stock radiator.

let me simplify and clarify:

i have a non ac std hatch (all stock)

i just put in ac (from another ef)

i would like to know if the stock 1" thick! non ac radiator would provide sufficient cooling with both fans attached.

thanks!
