a h23 motor does it come out the bottom or top?

Default a h23 motor does it come out the bottom or top?

i am changing the motor in a 96 prelude. it is a manual transmission with the h23 motor. i need to kno which way is easier to remove it. i kno that i will have to pull the motor and tranny together but will it come out of the top or the bottom easier?

let me kno.

any other tips would be greatly appreciated as well.

Pull it out the bottom. Just remove the front sub frame and radius rods and it will drop straight out. Out the top is way to hard in my book.

Every honda engine I have ever done has been out the bottom of the engine bay.

It depends on your situation in my opinion.

If you don't have a lift or a way to get the car high enough in the air, then out the top may be the way for you. But if you have a lift or a way to get the car in the air enough then I've always heard out the bottom is easier.
