Figured I would open a thread to get everyone organized on where we want to have a meet once it gets warmer around here.

I'm thinking somewhere around Indy would work best since it's right in the middle of the state and all. I would love to hear others opinions so feel free to contribute.

I'm from up north btw

So far what is certain is that this meet will be occurring in May on a Saturday or Sunday.

indy sounds fine. got the canal downtown with a few places to park near it. and there is a drag track west of inday in the next county in clermont.

 

you already know im down, the last 2 meets ive been to were both in chicago... but they were pretty big. id be down for a decent size indiana meet, i never see any good cars really around where i live (fort wayne) but i know theres gotta be some dope hondas here somewhere

Yeah I am down for a meet for sure, I can bring the majority of the Anderson crew, and I'll post this on Indy's biggest car forum. We just need a location. I'm thinking Fast Times Indoor Go Kart track on Indy's northside. It's fun and a good get together type place which involves racing which I know we all love.

 

Also don't forget about Winged Warrior 07! Should be real big.

I know of some good cars here in fort wayne...We will have to race this summer

I'll probably be there. Speaking of shops, don't forget about Stewart Engines, on Gasoline Alley.

 

I'm in..the parking for fastimes is kinda small though. I know for fact that there are A LOT of nice honda's in INDY..i'm down there a lot so i'll start looking around too and i was about to make a trip to Tru next week or so, so i could possibly talk to George see if he can spread the word a little bit. Unless someone thats closer beats me to it.

and since i'm in that area a lot i'll take pictures of possible areas and post them in here for everyone who can't come down this far to just drive around. as soon as the weather clears up a bit i'll start driving around and looking for possible places.

Dang, I would go but Indy is about a 3 hour drive from NW indiana. Oh well I guess Ill just stick with the Chicago meets

 

lol...i have the advantage of being right in the middle of Indy and all of you guys that are more up north than i am...so if you guys can find a place somewhere in the middle of that or closer towards you guys i'm game.

 

i'll be in brownsburg soon and then find a place in plainfield. i still think the canal would be a good spot and the clermont drag stip has a big lot for a meet.

I think the canal would be a great spot as well, the clermont drag strip is IRP right? If so that would great.

Where are you at? I'm in the valpoish area, so you can't get much more NW indiana from that and it take me around 2hr's 15mins to get to indy.

Im in Dyer about 2 miles from the Illinois state line.

Well Valpo is at least a 25 minute drive from me and thats in good traffic. So my estimate of "about 3 hours" is pretty damn close actually.
