Q: I am putting a SIRII head on my SIR I block, due to head damage and am wondering how I set the new head to TDC, or if this is required?

Q: I bought a set of Koni Yellows, waiting on them to get here, I have a set of H&R springs, but Im not sure what spec they are, I am pretty sure they have a rating of 250/60F and 250/40R which seams wierd, but I dunno. Is this ok to use?

Q: Lastly, my old head had a grove where the camshaft rest, i run my fingernail accross it and it kind of catches, but not to much, there is also a tap stuck in one of the Valve Cover bolt holes, can the grove be repaired or is this head toast?

1. Set the cams to tdc no1 using the cam gears. not required til the head is on.

if u dont know how to set ur timing u should have someone do it 1 tooth off and the car runs like ****
