Default Weight of 2006 Si 17" wheels?

Has anyone weighed their stock FG2 17" wheels with or without the stock Michelins? TireRack.com has the tires weighing 21 lbs. each.

I searched on HT, checked Google, and went to wheelweights.net and found nothing on the rims.

Thought I would check here before I pull my wheels/tires off to weigh.

Just curious to see if I am adding or dropping weight with my new wheel/tire combo.

Thanks

Thank you both for the info.

At 45lbs. I will be losing almost 5 lbs. per corner when upgrading to my new wheels and tires.

Obviously, my new wheels are not as light as VOLKS etc.., but hopefully I will notice a small improvement in acceleration.

I was actually just hoping not to add weight and according to your numbers, I have done that

I am just going by the numbers they gave me, but I do KNOW that the stock Michelins are listed as 21lbs and 22lbs on TireRack.

And if Type X's figure of roughly 21-23lbs is close for the wheels, then that combined with the 21-22lb for the tires puts the total weight right at, or around 45lbs. Give or take a few pounds.

Did you think the combo was lighter or heavier?

Any other input you could provide would be helpful, especially if you have weighed the wheels for shipping.

Thanks

Any word on this...

As soon as it stops raining here, I will probably take one off to weigh just to be definitive.

Just in case anyone else wanted definitive proof, I weighed my stock 17" 2006 Si wheels with stock Michelins (not summer tires) and the combined weight was 45.5lbs.

Articsilber323 was almost spot on.

Like I said earlier, Tirerack.com has the stock Michelins weighing at 21 or 22lbs.

So, the wheels are between 22.5 and 23.5 lbs. like Type X mentioned.

It is good to know we can easily lose rotational mass weight with many of the tuner wheels out there.

Yeah, I thought it was just a well educated guess. I wish I would have asked you first so I did not have to pull mine off, haha
