Default My b18b swap. I need some help.

Here's the deal. I built a B18b motor that I will swap into my 97 civic hatch:

I have this intake mani from a b18b that has a B20b TB with a Fitv and it's matching IACV:

I will be using an obd2 ecu with it. Will this interfere with the fitv and idle?
Where does that front nipple on the fitv connect to?
I think the fuel rail is from the b20b as well. will it work?
Will the IACV work?

Confused....

there should be a small nipple on the thermostat housing run a from there to the fitv and then the iacv goes to the water tube on the back of the block and you should be fine

so all these parts i have on this IM should work with my 5spd swap right? I ask because the helms manual only indicates the FITV on a A/T car.

another question, I want to get these axles:

the seller tells me that they were on his 95 eg coupe with an ls/vtec swap. will they work on my 97 civic hatch with a 98 b18b swap?

although i think you gonna need a halfshaft..

but it just doesn't look like the axle will fit a halfshaft.

From what I've seen, the half shaft has like a "male" end and one of the axles should have a "female" end to they can mate right?

no...the halfshaft is the one with the "female" end

the halfshaft is gonna go on the driver sideof the tranny and mount to the block....the driver side axle is gonna fit into the halfshaft and in the the knuckle..

will older b series axles work with my swap? Here's what I researched:

The half shaft on 94-00 models have a male end on the driver side so the driver side axle has a female end. On older models it's different.

Can anyone confirm this?

axles you can use are as follow

"90-93 Integra axles, 94 up Integra axles, 94-97 Del Sol VTEC axles or 99-00 Civic Si axles.

Note: The intermediate shaft seal in the left side of the transmission is different for 90-93 Integra axles. Depending on axle transmission combo, it may have to be changed."

so it's safe to say that 90-93 axles must be used with 90-93 half shafts and same for 94-00 tegs etc...right?

Sorry for the newb q's but I just want to get it done right.

Ok, so i bought DA axles which has a female end on the driver side halfshaft. I was reading somewhere about replacing a tranny seal to be able to use these. Can anyone elaborate?

you talkin about the post i posted up top???i really dont know if you need to chnge anything because im using SI axles....maybe someone can chime in and help u on that....<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by zerovandez &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">So i got to ripping the d series out. yay.

the metal rod/piston thing is not suppost to come out...if it came out completly, im sure everything else got out of place...you prob gonna have to rebuild it or get a new one if you lost the orings and spring thats in it....mine got busted once while driving and i lost the oring....i put everything back together but when i would press the clutch, the fluid would leak out....so i just bought a new one...
