Default Exedy clutch actin a fool

ok so i replaced my clutch last october (along with the motor and transmission 2 days before i drove it from louisiana to california to ship it to hawaii) and ever since i did it has had this problem where starting off in 1st it 'stumbles' a bit, but if i come off at like 2500 rpms it does totally fine. also the 1st to second shift feels rough...no grinds, just rough. I dont know what the deal is but it makes me question if i know how to drive a standard anymore...j/k but seriously it is difficult to take off. anyone? thanks

EDIT: 88 dx with sohc zc and tranny..exedy clutch....oem zc flywheel.

Did you resurface the flywheel when the clutch was installed?
Did you break in the clutch per Exedy's recommended 600 miles?

flywheel was from an ef7 that i pulled the engine from that had only 21000 km (I worked with an import company and pulled it from the car myslef). That thing was *minty compared to my old one. as for the 600 miles break in period.....i drove 1900 miles in 3 days exactly 2 days after i installed it so.....i guess i broke it in. i

about the mounts i replaced them with Honda OEM when i put in the new motor except for the front mount which was autozone (ive had a thread already about how crappy their mounts are already). Honda said they didnt carry that one any more. i was actually looking for a solid front mount and still am.

When i say the shift from 1st to 2nd is rough, it actually sometimes feels like the car kinda turns off and comes ona gain (i say this cause my radio turns off and my rpms say they are at 0 for a second between shifts).

Solid Front Mount - JimFab made em, doesn't anymore.

Car turns off, sounds like a definite electrical problem, only way the distributor would stop sending a signal to the tach.

yeah i hear you on the electrical, but it is more like when you dont give enough gas to get started and you stall out kinda feeling? but between gears? or if you are push starting it and it kinda stumbles at first? but this is only when i am kinda getting on it, to say pull onto the freeway from those stupid ramps that make you stop kinda thing. i though for a while it was my clutch alignment/adjustment so i have adjust the cable a few times back and froth and it does change the engagement of teh pedal but still this wierdness.

this sounds dumb but i swear it is happening. i was talkgin to my dad about it (mecahnic for 20 years or so off an on) and he thinks that i am just shifting wrong. he thinks i am being goofy about it

is it possible that it is a transmission problem? it is from the sohc zc and it is an L3 tranny....maybe something stupid like axles or something? kinda stumped.
