S2000's greatest thread
For those of you who have been here for a while, do you remember the thread were a dealer employee post a vid of himself doing donuts in a brand new S2000? This is going a few years back. I was just thinking about it and lmao. lol I searched and can't find it. Please post a link to the thread if you find it!
For those of who weren't here or don't remember, it goes something like this......
A young dealer employee post of vid of him beating a brand new S2000 on dealer property as stated above. In the video, you can clearly hear it bangin off the rev limiter for a few seconds. He was doing donuts and if I can remember correctly, he even came close to hitting a fence.
Anyway, as you can imagine loyal S2000 owner were enraged and flamed the guy to death. This arrogant fool started mouthin off in the thread stating who his father was in dealership blah...blah...blah and wasn't jack going to happen to him. An h-t member felt otherwise and posted in the thread he was sending the video to Honda America along with a "strongly worded letter". lol
In response, this dealer employee lost his arrogance and edited his post trying to cover his tracks. Of course it was all too late and everyone had already quoted pretty much everything he posted along with re-hosting the video for all viewers.
I'm just interested in the outcome of this fascinating story. If anyone has info, please share.

I remember that thread several years back and all of the backlash on the dealer and the ex-employee. IIRC, the dealer did a commendable job of taking care of the situation before the interweb mob killed any potential business. I know the guy lost his job very very quickly.
Should be filed in the file of "Things Not to Do Then Post About It."

IIRC, some people recognized the dealership, contacted them, and the dealership then took quick action. I'd check the archives in the s2ki.com if you can't find it here.
and then they go and sell the car to some poor idiot that has no idea of the abuse that it went through. It pisses me off how some people have no morals and disregard property that doesn't belong to them.
