I was looking in the 2007 race season and closest races coming near L.a are the BOTI in fontana but not untill july 29.So i was wondering any local 1/4 mile tracks like fontana speedway or palmdale opening soon for street legal weekend races.

 

 

You can race at palmdale wednesdays and fridays, or at least you used to. The Speedway has a street legal event every month usually.

 

I heard they might close down palmdale.

 

Try Mansville on Sunday after noon. With alll the other v8"s

I've heard about this for awhile. Where exactly is it?

 

off the 91 east and something..theres a carls jr off the exit.But its not in compton its in carson..off the 110 and 91 east..

One Friday night driving down Vernon Blvd off the 110 fwy I saw a bunch of FOO's chillen at a ROSS. They must have had a big sale with SOUTH POLE clothing because everyone out there was wearing something SOUTH POLE

Anyways, Palmdale is also open on certain Saturdays and Sundays for test and tune. Just check the weekly calander, it might say like:
"MUSTANG CHALLANGE, TEST AND TUNE, NO TIMES, STREET RACER LIGHTS, All CARS WELCOME"

 

what nights do they happen?

 

Thrusdays are in the San Fernado valley .. But i know Mansville and Compton races are popping

What 1/8 miles track is that in Riverside?

 

its actually in Perris.

 

there is a psca event happening at california speedway, march 16-18. i called the other day and they said that you can test n' tune on friday. the best time to arrive is around noon so you can get as many passes in as possible. bracket racing begins saturday with eliminations on sunday. and they welcome imports.

there are also 1/8 mile drag events in san diego at qualcomm stadium. those happen on friday nights...i believe there is an event this friday??? check out racelegal.com for dates and additional info.
