Default B series swap in 1st gen teg.

Does anyone have any personal experience with doing this or know of someone who had done it? I am just trying to get some ideas on what to do and what you guys think of swapping a b series into a 1st gen teg. I have searched some...... just would like some fresh input. Thanks.

search some more and youll find that all integras came with b series engines...

go to the integra forum FAQ and find the most common engine swap write ups, including one about putting a b16 into a DA (1st gen Integra)

86-89 had d-series motors in them not B series. A DA is not the first gen integra.

Beat me to it

I would imagine it would be along the same lines as swaping a Bseries into any native D series home...

Mounts and wiring. The norm. Companies make mount kits for it. I have been looking for a clean 1st gen for a long time. Most of them are beat up, rusted in the quarters really bad, or both.

tell you the truth. the code for those are DA3's i used to own one and loved it.

hasport makes mounts for it. it'll drop right in, probably gotta add vtec wires. awhile back ago there was one with a type r boosted on honda tunning. i remember him saying he had to bang the firewall back or something.

it's possible

I want to put a b20 in the teg...... but a vendor here told me that it would end up costing me more than buying a complete b16 swap. I wanna do a b20 vtec set up.
