Default most common swap mistakes or problems?!?

first off let me say, im in the middle of a b18c1 swap into an auto crx and im just hesitating on pulling the old motor due to this being my first swap. im already past the point of no return being that ive already pulled the wiring harness and had it converted, purchased the b18c1 motor and mounts, and converted the car from auto to manual, but before i go any further i just wanted to ask if you guys can give me a list of common mistakes or problems that might accur while doing this swap. Im freakin dying to drive the car so i want to get through this as quick as possible but yet i cant get over the fear that im gonna Fu#$ sumthing up. any suggestions are apreciated.

Worst case scenario. Starting the car and it blowing up.

you should of left the wire harness on both the motors and after you pull out the stock motor, set it side by side the b18c and do the wireing...it will be much easier that way...if you want to make it nice and stock, rip off all the black covering on your stock harness that you are going to be using and plug it all up to the b18c and add the wires for knock sensor, vtec, IAB and extend some wires that needs to be extended...double check your wireing and after everything is connected, take the black covering and cover up all the wires as good as possible and tape it all back up and then you should be good to drop it in

well after its in the car, b4 you start it make sure everything is hooked up again, make sure u have oil in the engine, coolant in the rad. fuel line hooked up to the fuel first, spark plugs plugged up in the correct fireing order, prime the engine until the oil light turns off..then start the car and check it over for leak n stuff

Heres my advice man.

I was nervous too upon startup, i was like what if...

But you just have too trust that its gonna be all good as long as your not ghetto, though ghetto people do not know when they are...lol

Just make sure it has all fluids, coolant, gear oil and motor oil, make sure you run the right gear oil and lubricants.

If you have a rywire.com conversion harness you deff. have a head start, my rywire harness truelly was plug and play, no issues.

If its a stock motor, just run the stock ecu, you should have any problems.

If the motor cranks up and blows up or spins a bearing it most likely had problems before you purchased it.

I think by the looks of your current state that you'll be fine, just take your time. Do not drive the car untill it is truelly ready too drive, even if it is tempting.

Get new waterpump timing belt all the things that should be replaced clutch etc because it is easier to do while out the car and while the motor is out clean up the bay with simple green and make sure the wiring is good you have rywire so you fine
