i have a 1997 4door civic with b16a including these:

1- toda stg2 cams+cam gears
2- toda high compression pistons
3- toda head gasket
4- toda stage 2 clutch and disk and flywheel
5- lsd tranny
6-toda power chipped ecu
7-b&m fpr
8-walbro 255hp fuel pump
9-sparco air intake system
10-DC headers.

i'm running the stock b16 injectors.

the problem:

the car is freaking fast on first two gears, but when i hit the third gear i loose all power, but on 4th and 5th gears its fast as hell.

whats the problem with my 3rd?! is it injectors?! i did my timing issues but i still have the same problem.

I think its in your head? What is your injector duty cycle at?

 

or the shifting?!
where do the rpms drop from 2nd to 3rd?!

 

you should really get a b16 tranny

 

i dont think the injectors have anything to do with you losing power on the 3rd gear...if it was that injector you'll losing power in all gears

 

sounds like you need a tune

wtf is a toda power chipped ecu? ebay chip? by stage 2 cams i assume you mean toda b's?

 

the chip i got from toda power when i ordered everything, i have a b16 tranny (ctr), when i shift from 2nd to 3rd my rpms drops from 9600 to 7600rpm thats all u need to know guys

 

and where does it drop from 1st to 2nd?!
and where does it drop from 3rd to 4th?!

and did you get the dyno results?! where is the HP peak?!

 

i dont have any dyno, (stupid middleeast) from 1st to 2nd it drops to 8300 and so does from 3rd to 4th

 

sounds like a tuning issue...i would upgrade injectors as well...im sure toda power could help you with that issue since you have used all of there parts

 

diff. 3rd gear? did u run the engine, tranny combo before all the upgrades?

 

yes it was ok before all toda goodies, the guy from toda shop told me its cuz of my dizzy wiring, cuz its not original and it've been cut before
