I'd like to see some dyno numbers before I spend that kind of money on a product... I'm willing to be the test mule as I have a dyno near my house, but my mods might cause different results.
I'm IN... after I see numbers.

With CAI / SSR Header / Exhaust & Reflash it put down 210whp on church's dyno. Not sure on TQ though...but that was the power it made. If you want proof go look at rsx dynos with it. Its the exact same header, just bent a tiny bit different to fit the layout of the car. So should I put you on the list then?

Cool mike...i'll put you in.
I talked to danny at SSR and he said hondata tried to make a new reflash with the header installed, and everything they tried to change didnt yield anymore gains then the original reflash they made with the dc header. So they are not going to make one specifically for this header and are going to use the original reflash. He said they dyno'd at Churchs dyno with an SI that had a CAI/ SSR Race header / Exhaust with reflash and made 210whp. They said the MAF sensor is extremely advanced on the Si. Thats why they didnt need to add any fuel up top and also is why the Si doesnt run lean like the RSX did with a raceheader and could compensate perfectly for anything thats done to it. Thats all I know so far.

You guys won't be dissappointed.
I did a controlled test against a fully-tuned DCRH last year
and the SSR was 10whp peak better, and almost 20whp midrange.
I only have ITR cams/manifold, and 2.5" exhaust as major mods.
Also have AEM pullies,Injen cai, and of course, k-pro.(2004 type-s)
SSR FTW!!!

whaaat? that sounds a little fishy. that's the output of two race headers in one (or you must have gained very little on the DCRH).
if it's true, i can only hope for the same on the SSR for the FG2.

do you know what the stock dyno was?

Thats just how good SSR is...thats the thing people dont get about these headers. They are the best. Its not some mass produced thrown together header. Each one is hand crafted...custom made. With lots of research. Think about it guys....this is what he does. HEADERS
NO, i dont know what the stock dyno was. I mean everything i've seen have been from 170s to 180s...danny told me with Intake, header , exhaust to expect anywhere from 23-27whp.

The SSR cost me twice as much, and delivered roughly twice the power.
With just AEM v2 and DCRH I was 20whp up on stock rsx's on teh same dyno, same day. The DCRH was good, but the SSR is way better, as it should be.
It shows on the cam angles also. The dcrh needed many changes in the cam angles to get a good power curve and peak power that held on. The SSR needed only 2 angles on the high cam up to 8200rpm, then taper off.
The stepped primaries and correct cylinder pairing works.
Derek and Danny are great. I was the first rsx to test the SSR header
in North America. It was worth every penny.

I couldnt have said it any better. All people see is HEADER & $1100. They dont actually understand the R&D that goes into this. They dont see the quality differences...such as the welds...cylinder pairing...the stepping..etc. All people see is what it is and the price.
LOL of course we know its a good product based on the price i love high quality stuff the point is thats alot of money for a race header you can buy tein ss coil overs with that almost i just wish it was a little cheaper then that.
