Accord Died 1993 LX
I was coasting in traffic yesterday and the car just died, no sounds, no smoke, just died. It will not start, battery is good, starter is working, and it has gas. The oil light came on the other day and after it died i checked the oil and it was very low. Added oil, reset the ecu by disconnecting the battery for 5 mins. Still nothing. It is not getting a spark according to a friend i had check it out today. I think the oil being very low could have triggered a sensor or something and shut it down. Can anyone shed some light on this?
Thanks!
Thanks!
low oil level will not cause 'no spark'.
Check for spark from coil while cranking engine, if nothing check for battery voltage on the Black/yellow wire when the key is on.
Don't just start throwing parts at it; an accurate diagnose can save you $$$
